Direct-To-Garment
Direct-to-garment, or DTG, is a printing method that sprays ink onto the garment. The ink then soaks into the fibers of the garment. It’s like printing on paper, but on clothing. DTG printing is the way to go if you want a t-shirt with an elaborate design and tons of colors. While other printing methods limit the amount of colors in your design, DTG can handle a virtually limitless color palette.
Direct to Garment Pros:

Fast prints

Direct-To-Garment Limitations:

Highly effective on cotton but not as effective on other substrates, such as polyester blends
-
Color gamut limitation
-
Not ideal for mass production
